During TUVA education you can raise your basic education grades, perform high school and vocational education studies, as well as boost your learning skills. When applying for education, you do not yet have to know whether you want to continue in high school education or in vocational education.

Application for preparatory education for programs leading to an upper secondary qualification (TUVA education):
- Feb. 8 - March 18, 2025
- Apply for education by submitting an online application form at: opintopolku.fi.
- You can change your wishes during the application period. The application period ends on March 18, 2025, at 15:00.
- Apply for TUVA education on the same form you apply for high school and vocational basic degree.
- You can enter 7 wishes on the form.
- The order of your preferences matters. Enter the best alternative first.
Student selection
- Student selections will be published on June 12, 2025.
- Student selections will be notified by email as of June 12, 2025.
- You must notify the education arranger of your acceptance of the study place as soon as possible; however, at the latest on June 26, 2025.
