Guidance counselling
The purpose of guidance counselling is to support our students during their studies and to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need for working life or further studies. Each area of study at Varia has a study counsellor, who provides guidance counselling on study planning, study-related choices and matters relating to applying for employment or further study. The guidance counsellors are responsible for study choices.
Every student in vocational education and training is entitled to study with guidance counselling. In addition to the guidance counsellors, guidance is also provided by the responsible teacher and other teachers. Guidance can be both individual and group-based.
