Stand as a candidate in the Youth Council elections!
The Youth Council Elections are here soon! The call for candidates has opened and will end on 29 September 2023.
Reasons to apply to the youth council
As a youth councilor
- you can affect issues related to Vantaa youth (for instance, school meals, promoting welfare, building, leisure places)
- you can help other young people find ways to make an impact
- you will meet several new people and make new friends
- you will meet the city's decisionmakers
- you will learn and experience new things
- you get to arrange various kinds of events targeted at the young
You do not have to stress at the youth council. Youth council supervisor, god-councilors, and other youth councilors will support youth councilors. You will be trained for the task, and the youth council is a safe place to learn how to influence. You do not have to previous knowledge of influencing; being interested in it is enough.
