Study to be a cook
The objective of the study program is that the student will be able to work as a cook in the hospitality industry. Furthermore, the study program gives qualification to work within the industry in several other positions as well. The main aim of the study program is to give skills and know-how which enable the holder of the certificate to work as a cook in a restaurant in the Finnish working environments.

Qualified cooks will work at á la carte restaurants, staff restaurants, institutional kitchens, banquets and catering services, fast food services and cafes, for example. The employment percentage for the graduates is very good due to very high demand for the professionals in the hospitality industry.
Further studies
Vocational qualification in Restaurant and Catering Services enables the graduates to apply for further studies in universities of applied sciences or in universities.
